Day 9: Bongeunsa Temple and COEX Mall and Aquarium

With a Sunny Clear Sky, we started with our 9th day in Seoul. It was pretty warm, but nice and we are so lucky with this good weather. We went to the COEX mall again to check out it surrounding area, because there is a lot to see there.

But before we went to check things out, we had our lunch first at Omumoto Tomato restaurant. It's a very nice place if you want to eat Omurice with tomato saus...

~ Enjoying our Omurice with Pork Cutlet ~

After filling our tummies we headed outside of the mall heading to the Bongeunsa Temple area. There we want to see the Buddha Statue and it's surrounding shrines. It was just a five minute walk from the COEX Mall to get there...

After entering the temple area and we went up some stairs, we saw these lanterns hung up all over the ceiling of the tent in front of the first shrine we saw... It was really amazing and impressive to see it...

When we came down from the Bongeunsa Temple area we went back to the COEX Mall. There we headed for the COEX Aquarium. On our way we found ourself using the Digital map which is a big touch screen as you can see here below...

This digital guiding systems works great, because you can find up the place you want to go to by just using the touch of your finger. It then gives you the route you should walk, and how long it takes to get there. It really comes in handy when you want to go somewhere... After a few minutes walking we found the COEX Aquarium...

The Variety Show Running Man has also been here to do film shooting for their COEX Aquarium mission. There the had to do many missions all over the place. So it was also an extra experience for us to be here because Running Man was also here...

~ Super Deformed (SD) Lilia and Kurisu ~

While walking around we found a creature sleeping... So Kurisu lay down with this Reptile Dude chilling at COEX Aquarium inside of the Mall...

While walking around, we entered this tube surrounded by water and the sea animals... There we saw sharks, turtles and many other fishes. It was a really amazing view and experience...

We ended our adventures at the COEX Aquarium with this final picture of Kurisu with the Giant Spider Crabz. It was a really fun and amazing place to visit, and we recommend you should check it out when you are staying at Seoul.

~ Baskin Robbins Lego Gift Set ~

Then we went outside of the COEX Mall to explore the surrounding area. During our walk we found this small Baskin Robbins store, and we saw that they still have the Lego Gifts when you order certain items. This BR was located just outside COEX Mall and Bonguensa Temple in the direction of the Kyobo Building. With this rare opportunity we got this Lego set because Kurisu is a big Lego fan.
After our walk outside, we went around COEX mall to find a place to have a light dinner because we had a heavy lunch. We wanted to check out the place of Jackie's Kitchen. This is one of the restaurants of Jackie Chan. There you can order many dishes. Their main speciality are the dishes with spicy stuff, so we actually kinda skipped this. One because we weren't that hungry, and second because it was to spicy for us.

With this dinner we ended our 9th day in Seoul,
and it was amazing and fun as usual.  (^_^)V
See you tomorrow with our next blog!
