Day 8: Yongsan (IPark department store & Electronic Market)

With our 8th day in Seoul, we headed out for Yongsan, by taking the subway to Yongsan Station. Arriving at the station, we went to the iPark Department Mall that was build on Yongsan Station. It is a very big mall that has a lots of stuff to sell.

After walking around within iPark, we found a floor full of Hobby, Toys and Anime/Manga stuff. On this floor they had a very big store where you can buy a lot of Gundam Stuff. This store is call the Gundam Base...

~ Mobile Suit Rockband??? ~

Right next to the Gundam base, are two other stores who are connected to each other. These stores are B-Base and the Toy Factory, and are also of Bandai. At B-Base you can buy stuff like figures and pvc statues/action figures from Anime/Manga series. The Toy factory is selling stuff of the Sentai (Power Rangers) series and capsule toys...




Around these 3 stores where other hobby, toy and kids fashion stores. There was a shoe store for kids which had awesome shoes from series like Star Wars the Clone Wars, Spider-man and The Avengers... So awesome to see...


Next to the shoe store there was a Toy Outlet which has many toys for sale, like Transformers, Power Rangers, Marvel Stuff and more...

Also on this level they had many Gashapon (Capsule toys) Machines which contains many toys of many different series.They had Gashapons of Pororo, Gundam, Power Rangers and many more...

In this iPark Mall they also had a Videogame Arcade, where they has a lot of fun games. There we've played some games like a game where you had to throw balls at a screen, and an awesome racing game... Initial D Stage 6AA. This is the latest arcade version of Initial D, which Kurisu had to try out... He won all the 3 first stage levels in the game by using the Toyota AE86 Trueno...


After iPark mall we went to the Yongsan electronic market. There we found the gaming area where you can buy new games, retro games and even a lot of Hobby/Anime/Manga figures...

During our walk trough the market, we've gotten pretty thirsty. So we headed back to iPark to get some refreshning drinks at Starbucks Coffee. There we bought some latte and a refreshner...

Next stop was Myeongdong where we checked out the Music Korea store, where the sold all the famous K-Pop music stuff and Korean tv series and OSTs. It was really amazing to see, and you can even make pictures with cardboards of famous artists...




Then we headed for the M-Plaza again to get some stuff and headed back to our hotel. From there we dropped our stuff in our room and headed out to eat some Korean Hot Pot in the surrounding area...

Because the Hot Pot was very spicy and good, we treated our selfs with some ice cream back at our hotel. With having Ice Cream, we ended our 8th day in Seoul...


It was another really fun and amazing day here in Seoul where we have seen so much. After our dessert it is sleepy time and off to our next day in this fun and amazing city of South Korea...
