Day 3: Lotte World, Han River Cruise & Seoul Tower Tour

On our 3rd day we had to get up early, because we had to get ready for our full day tour. We were expected around 09:00 hours in the lobby of our hotel to be picked up by the Seoul Tour Company. There we met our tourguide Sunhye for the day. She was very friendly and nice, and we started to talk about why we wanted to visit Seoul. We told her we liked it because of K-Pop, the food, Korean Drama, Running Man and PSY with his Gangnam Style song. She even told us that her 4 year old son is a big fan of the Gangnam Style dance (^_^) After talking about all kinds of stuff we arrived at our first destination... Lotte World.

Lotte World is the indoor Theme Park of Seoul. Lotte is a very big company who produces food and other stuff. The have many sub companies like Lotte Department, Lotte Hotel and more... And the also have their on theme park. We were very excited to be there, because the Korean Variety Show: Running Man has been in for filming to do missions at Lotte World. During the Mission: Hide and Seek in the Running Man episode, Song Ji Hyo was hiding and riding this attraction. It is hard to believe that the were here on this location. 

After walking around and exploring, Kurisu found a indoor Rollercoaster Ride called: French Revolution. This ride was also used in Running Man were they had to do Karaoke while riding the Roller Coaster. It was a really fun ride, because you are going upside down. 

After the Roller Coaster ride, we explored the theme park some more and we've found the Hot Air Balloon ride which takes you all over the park. This ride gives you a great view of the park, and where you can go to.

There were many spots to take pictures with the Mascotts of Lotte World. We found many of these spots, and the also had an exhibition of paintings where you can blend into. It was really funny to take pictures of those paintings with yourself. We also rode the Carrousel which had horses on it to ride on...

After walking around Lotte World and Exploring it, it was time to take the final pictures of it before we continue with our tour. So we asked if our Tour Guide would take a picture with us, which made her very happy. She even took a picture of us together in Lotte World:

After Lotte World, we headed towards the Food Court for Lunch. This was located in the same building, because an underground Shopping Mall was build under and against Lotte World. It is even connected to the Subway station so it makes it easier to reach with the public transportation.

When we finished up our Lunch, we headed out the check out the Lotte Mart. It was a huge supermarket/ department store. It's fun to shop there and to take some pictures of Pororo and the Gang...

When we were done with shopping, we headed to our next destination which was the Han River Tour. We went to the dock by car where our river cruise boat was waiting for us. Not knowing we arrived at a dock that was also used as a mission location for Running Man in Episode .. CSI Special.

This is the location where Ji Hyo was, trying to find instructions on her mission while stealing the Running Man Gold items...

On this Spot, the cast members like Yoo Jeasuk, Gwang Soo, Haha & Gary, had to do a mission by doing the Limbo... It is really hard to believe we were at another location where Running Man was. It felt like we were on a follow the Running Man mission... (^__^)V

Then we got onto the Han River Cruise boat, and started our tour... We were really lucky with the weather today, because it gave us a good view of the surroundings. We were really thankfull that it didn't rain like yesterday... (^__^)V

This place was near Gangnam, where PSY shooted his scene on the water for his Gangnam Style video...

When we've completed our cruise on the Han River, it was time to head to the famous landmark of Seoul... Seoul Tower. The tower was located on top of a hill, and we were taken by car to the top. But we still had to walk a few meters up the hill to get to Seoul Tower, which was a pretty good excercise...

After a minute of 3 walking upwards the hill, we reached the top. The top has a great view over Seoul, especially with the weather we have today. But because it was so sunny, it was hard to get a picture of the Tower itself. But it's okay, because we still could see it with our own eyes (^_^) Believe it or not, this location was also used for a Running Man episode. It was really great to have been at 3 sites where the Running Man cast members were... Now we need the luck to meet some of them in person XD

After shooting some pics at the base of the tower, we headed inside of the tower to take the elevator upstairs to the observertory deck. There we really had a good view of Seoul...

We've completed our tour by heading to our final destination, which is Insadong. This place has old, antique and traditional shops where you can buy souvenirs. Between those stores we also found a store/museum where the display toys from the 70ies till now. 

After that, we started to walk around the place of Insadong some more, where we found many shops like Etude House, It's Skin, Art Box and more... But we did mostly some window shopping hahaha...

When we were heading to the subway, we took the subway to Seoul Station, where the Old station of Seoul was located. It also had many stores like a Department store and Lotte Mart. These place we've checked out to see what they had to sell...

When we completed our exploration round at Seoul Station, it was time to head back to our Hotel. Before we headed towards our hotel, we made a stop at Lotteria to have some dinner... 

When we we've finshed our dinner, we headed back to our hotel where we admired our stuff we've bought during our tour. We are really greatfull that our tourguide and driver showed us a great time, and showed us some good spots in Seoul to vistit. Thank you very much! (^__^)V

Here we end our third day in Seoul, which was getting even better at each moment. We are really glad we've gotten the opportunity to be here on vacation. Thank you Seoul for giving us a really great time on our third day!!! (^__^)V
