Day 13: Last Day in Myeongdong, Seoul :(

Today we woke up realizing its our last day in Seoul :(

After checking in online for our flight tomorrow, we decided to go to Myeongdong for the last time.

As you can see the subway entrance is next to our hotel. The other entrance, exit 13 is across the street next to Lotteria.

When we arrived at Myeongdong station. It was really crowded. It's not surprising, because its saturday and we went out after 12pm. We wandered around the area of Myeongdong.. enjoying our last day...

 You can enter Myeongdong through different Portals... This is one of them.

Because its lunch-time we searched for something 'light'. So we decided to eat at KFC.

After our lunch we went searching for Myeongdong Catholic Catherdral. They were renovating around the Catherdral, so it was difficult to see everything + there was also a wedding. So it was crowded.

After a quick view of the Cathedral we walked back to Myeongdong Underground Shopping Center. They have a lot of Underground Shopping Centers. Its really convenient for rainy days

 This is a small cd and dvd Shop we found the first time we went to Myeongdong. They have a lot of cds & dvds for a low price. Other places you can buy cd's/ dvds in Myeongdong are

- M-plaza: BG1: Kosney

- A cd shop across Citi Bank

- Music Korea above Nature Republic

- Noon Aquare at the Basement - YP Books

- SPAO:  (Everysing)

Also we found cd/dvd shops at Kyobo Bookstore, Gwanghwamun called Hottracks

- I'park Mall: Cooltrack

- COEX Mall: Evans Records/Music Store

- Seoul Station: Bandi & Lundi

 We also saw a lot of Kpop Merchandise like calenders, posters and photos

 I caught my eye on a magazine/ seoul map with Bae Yong Joon in the MBC dramaserie 'The Legend'. When we were done walking around the Underground Shopping Mall, we walked in Noon Square Shopping Mall, where we found another bookstore YP Books with CD and DVD  + Stationary section. Then we went upstairs and saw H&M. I grabbed the H&M Magazine and outside H&M we saw the american Brand, Abercrombie and Fitch (A&F) with a banner with a lot of different Korean stars like Running Man.

It was 4pm and really really really crowded in the streets of Myeongdong, so we escaped to get something to drink at Starbucks in M-plaza.

We saw a map where Starbucks are located in Myeongdong. As you can see they have a lot in Myeongdong.

After our relaxing time, we looked around at M-plaza at Daiso and Kosney before we head to the Food- Court to eat dinner.

After dinner it was time to leave, before it will be really busy & crowded at the subway.

Myeongdong subway exits are also really busy, because they are doing renovations there... so a lot of exits are closed.

On our way to our hotel and on our way to the subway we always walked through an sports underground shopping center. They sell lots of football shirts, sports shoes and accessoires.

For the last time we enter our hotelroom and took a moment to watch the beautiful view outside our hotelroom. The sun slowly goes down and this will be our last night here in Seoul.

Thank you for following us and our blog for 2 weeks. Hope you have enjoyed our adventure here in Seoul. We will leave early tomorrow, because our flight is at 12.50pm from Seoul &  We will land at 5.30pm in the Netherlands. (^_^)v

We really fell in love with Seoul and we will miss the surroundings, the food, the people, the music and the atmosphere.... we both really want to go back here one day...

Day 12: Checking out Hongdae

Today on our 12th day in Seoul, we went to explore Hongdae District of Seoul. Here we found many bars and restaurants. The reason why we went there is because we want to check out the locations that are used by Korean Drama Shows and Running Man.

We've just arrived at Hongdae and we found a Cardboard of a BBQ restaurant with Wolverine on it. Kurisu had to take a picture of it with a Spidey Pose (^_^)V *Thwippp*

Our first mission was to find the Coffee Prince Café that should be located nearby. We used the map we've gotten from the internet to find this Café that was used for the Korean Drama show "Coffee Prince"...

After a little walk passing by many restaurants and café's we finally found the cafe that is used in the Korean Drama Coffee Prince. To make pictures inside of the compound you should first order an item. After that you are free to take any pictures you want...

After finishing up our drinks at the Coffee Prince Café, we headed out the check out our next location in Hongdae. This location is Haha's restaurant. Haha is one of the main cast members of the Running Man show, and his restaurant was used as a film location for one of the Running man episodes. During our walk we found this wall where you can order DC Comics t-shirts by scanning the barcode with your phone. By scanning the barcode you can buy it and let it be shipped to your home adres...

Lilia likes to make photographs and also like to use a lomocamera. On our way to Haha's restaurant we found a Lomography store in Seoul. Almost each country in the world has one...

While walking around the area where Haha's restaurant should be we found this store that is selling MARVEL stuff for the current new phones, like protection covers...

Because we walked so much, we started to get very hungry and are longing for a Pork Cutlet again... In Hongdae we've found this small Japanese restaurant where we've ordered our lunch...

Having a good and heavy lunch again, it was up to pass our second mission for now. We now are for mission 3, which is finding the Hello Kitty Café. This one was pretty easy to find because we were already very close to it. After 5 minutes we've found this cute Hello Kitty Café and ordered a Green Tea Latté, a Lemon Ice lemonade and a Chilli Hotdog... This place was really chill to hang out, and the food  and drinks are very good, especially with all the Kitty Stuff surrounding you (^__^)V

While having a break at this café, it was time to explore the area some more to find what's out there in Hongdae. Next to the Café's and restaurants we found many fashion stores and stationaries which was also very fun to see... (^__^)

We even found a very big big Daiso which was a very fun one to check out. They had many stationary stuff to buy here. We even found out that a Daiso store was used for a Running Man misison (^_^)V

After walking around we went back to our 2nd mission to find Haha's restaurant, and we've found it here in Hongdae. His restaurant was specialized in Pork and Beef intestines. We aren't actually fond of this speciality so we didn't ate here, but it was impressive to found Haha's restaurant live in person (^_^)V Eventough we didn't see Haha here... XD

Heading back to the subway station to have dinner nearby our hotel, it became very crowded in the street up ahead. We actually didn't had a clue what was going on there... People were gathering up here, and it seems they are waiting for a celebrity to arrive here. It was some kind of person who stars in Korean Drama series.

  

After a few moments he arrived at our current location in Hongdae, and it was So Ji Sub. When he came out of his van, many fan's where screaming when they saw him in person. It was pretty funny to see this happening in real life. After that it was back to the subway for dinner...

We were longing for a Korean BBQ dinner, and went on looking for a restaurant near our hotel. We found this restaurant, and the people whom served us were very nice....

With a great and good dinner ending up in our tummies, we ended our 12th day in Seoul. See you with our next blog... (^_^)V
